The Spreadeagle ice skating trick
A good stylish move when done correctly, the spreadeagle ice skating trick involves travelling with heels together, travelling to either your right or left.
To perform this trick, while skating forwards normally, lift up the skate you wish to place at the back and gently place it down in line with the other, heels touching. For maximum effect, try to create a straight line with both skates rather than a curve, or you will begin to turn on the ice. Effective though this is when in the centre of the ice, with a straighter line it is possible to turn on will, at the corners of the ice rink - this effectively shows greater skill, especially when performed facing the edges of the ice rink, rather than with your back to the walls.
